See-through jellies make for challenging observations!

Happy Lunar New Year!

The hard-to-see species of jellyfish, Aequorea spp. and ctenophores, were reported this time last year, so keep an eye on the water. These species won’t sting you like the Cyanea will, but different ctenophores have a reputation as very capable predators despite their small size. Beroe, a ctenophore known to be in Hong Kong, will envelop their prey in their transparent bodies and digest them. See if you can find them!

Thanks to all who sent in Participation Survey responses!
