Taxonomic Split 139471 (Committed on 2024-02-25)

D. rotundatus and D. perspectivus have been moved to Gonyodiscus, leaving D. ruderatus as the sole European member of Discus s.s. D. rotundatus has been introduced to a variety of places around the world, particularly in North America. This split bumps genus IDs of Discus s.l. to family in areas where G. rotundatus overlaps with Discus s.s.
