Spring in Green-Wood: Mycoblitz and More

We are planning a Spring Mycoblitz May 1-3 as part of Green-Wood's participation in the City Nature Challenge. Join that project to keep up all the events happening in Green-Wood over the weekend. An EventBrite sign-up for our initial Mycoblitz foray will be published soon. And additional details about how to contribute throughout the weekend will be also provided here.

Fungi are Starting to Pop

Recent rains and warmer weather are creating mycological stirrings in the Cemetery. Check out the latest findings here. Get out there, enjoy this beautiful season, and find those mushrooms!

Upgrade your Fungi Knowledge -- Join NYMS

The New York Mycological Society just announced an upcoming series of skill-building Zoom presentations. Members only, but the cost of joining is only $20. A true deal, especially considering the other perks like the newsletters, weekly Zoom ID meetings (it is always fun to see what others are finding, and everyone is invited to share), and organized walks (which could be starting up as early as this summer). Details on joining here.
