Howdy! I'm a wildlife biologist/prairie ecologist actively researching SW MO bumble bees & attempting to catalog all flowering plant species I encounter at each remnant tallgrass prairie site visit this summer. Most of my observations are out in the field, others are more casual or while traveling to new locations (I enjoy filling out my real world pokèdex).

All research is performed under proper permitting. Photographed bumble bees are not representative of the collected bumble bee data. Prairie plant observations are not an accurate representation of floral density or distribution, but instead an individual (often only the first that I observed during the day, sometimes multiple) of each species that I observed.
