Associate Professor of Biology at Schreiner University in Kerrville Texas, with a specialty in insect biodiversity and evolution. My main work focuses on damselflies, but I have a broad interest in many insects as well as natural history in general. In addition to my personal use, I use iNaturalist in several courses I teach to introduce students to nature, citizen science, and the importance of basic observational biology.
