Herpetology has been a great interest of mine for many years. I grew up exploring the deserts of western North America. I now work in museum collections management, molecular labs, I conduct field work and study biogeography and systematics of amphibians and reptiles using molecular data, and comparisons with morphology, ecology, and life-history data. I enjoy working with others and mentoring students, especially when I can interest the public and younger academic generations and motivate them to join activities that promote evolutionary education and preserving our natural environment.
