I’m not a nature specialist of any sort, just a regular person with an interest in nature and conservation. I love and collect houseplants of all sorts, I’m an amateur flower arranger and a beginner gardener. In my own garden, as well as container growing vegetable and some flowers for my hobby, I have become interested in plants native to Ontario and my region in the Carolinian Zone. My current project is trying to help preserve and maintain a portion of our lot in the ravine protection are in Toronto/Etobicoke and trying to find what I can plant to help stay the erosion on a dry ravine hill with clay soil in the shade of a large black walnut.
