I've loved nature ever since I was little. After a rainstorm it was perfectly normal to see me in my raincoat with my little red wagon picking up earthworms from puddles and sidewalks and rolling them up to garden beds where they'd survive.

I would have loved to become a wildlife rehabilitator but the opportunity never truly appeared. I'm just a simple amateur naturalist with a love for all things wild and a desire to learn as much as possible about the plants and animals that I've been encountering here in Belgium.

I'm currently studying to become a nature guide and working towards the launch of my professional project, Mist Connections, which aims to use nature, culture and creativity to build lasting connections between English speakers like myself and the Belgians who live near me.
