I'm a retired biologist who taught at San Bernardino Valley College. My current activities are related to; 1) ecological patterns of ant species in the S. California mountain and desert regions, 2) accessioning herbarium specimens at SBVC, and 3) helping students learn to use taxonomic keys for insects and plants as well as curating their collected specimens.

My research training is associated with the ecology of ants. I am also becoming acquainted with keying ant species associated with the S. California mountains and deserts.
