I'm an avid lifelong birder from Pennsylvania. I also enjoy photographing and IDing Lepidoptera. I have a BA in biology and music from Mount Holyoke College. In 2024 I'm working as a Seasonal Technician for Audubon North Carolina. I've previously worked on Fire Island, NY, with the Virginia Tech Shorebird Program monitoring Piping Plovers for two breeding seasons. I also worked at Rachel Carson NWR in Maine, monitoring Saltmarsh and Nelson's Sparrows, Piping Plovers, and Least Terns. I've been involved in bird banding from a young age and have done migration, MAPS, and Northern Saw-whet Owl banding, in addition to my summer work on species specific projects.
