I'm a North Carolinian who loves to take pictures of life in all forms in my free time, every new addition to the life list is an achievement! Most of my obscured observations in Davidson County are from my backyard.

My favorite taxa to observe include Elateridae, Auchenorrhyncha, and Mordellidae. Additionally, I monitor the improbable occurrence of Calephelis virginiensis in Davidson County of which I have been the only observer for, implying a small inhabited island in my area.

I also enjoy identifying, and have the most confidence in identifying Rosa multiflora, Agrimonia parviflora, Strophostyles helvola and umbellata, and generally all eastern US Rhus and Osmorhiza species.
