My current research interests include study of distribution, habitat selection, numbers, breeding biology, threats and monitoring of birds in Georgia, migration of birds through Georgia.
Current researches: Monitoring of raptors, cranes and storks in Georgia. In the last 30 years, I have also been involved in environmental studies and habitat assessment; bird control and management of wildlife hazards in wind and hydroelectric power plants, power lines, pipelines, airports, seaports, roads.
Currently, I am busy with the preparation for publication of the 5-volume edition of "The Birds of Georgia"
Motherlanguages are Georgian and Russian, also speaking English and Estonian (both with some mistakes).
