I thought that my meadow was home only to Chinese Mantis. I am now not so sure. The male does not look like a Chinese Mantis, but the female does. Not being an expert I have to ask is it possible that two types of Mantis will have sexual contact and procreate?

This mantis is smaller that the rest of the mantids in my meadow. But she ate aggressively.
