attractive little moth, dark maroon and yellow forewings while hindwings are more rust coloured with yellow zigzag lines, can rest conventionally with wings flat or with separated wings and the abdomen turned sharply up; attracted to house lights. This is the first of this species to be seen in the house in 2 years of (inconsistent) observation
