I saw this last year
It’s the only one in this area along the Highway
Taxonomy- Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Chordata, Subphylum: Vertebrata, Class: Aves, Order: Charadriiformes
Field Marks: Location and coloration made it easier to identify as a black-headed gull in order Charadriiformes.
Observation: Found while riding on a ferry on the Gulf of Mexico, going towards Galveston Texas. The observation was made around 4:00 PM.
The Prairie Dogs were along this back road. They were along the road. It was a dirty area. Tires, and garbage and mattresses were piled in off road spots.
My GPS kept messing up.
Fat bastard.
