Starting to see a few of these pieces washing in again
Fragment. First I have seen for a while
Two found washed up on shell bank within channel between mainland and Te Wakaru Island.
This Seahorse has to negotiate it's way through debris it shouldn't have to, luckily not getting snagged on the squid jigs barbs or tangled in the fishing line etc.. This fisher-person must have been terrible as they even left there fishing rod down there as well. At least the Seahorse got to hand around on the rope.
The Seahorse is looking for plastic straws & it looks like it found one :(.

Little fella had wrapped it's tail around my crabpot rope
A beautiful red one and a yellow in the weedline.
