Microhabitat: Second growth redwood forest. Found under a moist, hunk of rotting wood approximately 2.5’ in length and 1’ in width. The substrate under the wood was very moist with lots of decomposed wood underneath. The specimen was not engaged in any notable behavior.

Microhabitat: Second growth redwood forest. Found under a moist, flat mossy log approximately 4’ in length and 1’ in width. The substrate under the log was very moist with lots of decomposed debris underneath. The specimen was curled up, but not engaged in any notable behavior.

The substrate under the log was moist with lots of twigs, redwood leaves, and white mold underneath. There was a beetle next to the individual. The specimen was not engaged in any notable behavior.

The substrate under the wood was very moist with lots of decomposed redwood leaves underneath. There was also a centipede and millipede under the same log. The specimen was not engaged in any notable behavior.

Microhabitat: Second growth redwood forest. Found under a moist, rotting wood piece approximately 1.5’ in length and 1’ in width. The substrate under the wood was very moist with lots of decomposed redwood leaves and sticks underneath. The specimen was not engaged in any notable behavior, but had a shorter tail than others of its species I have found, suggesting possible past predator attack.
