Found growing singly sessile on unknown rotting log in moist mixed hardwood/conifer environment. No significant smell. Texture feels soft and rubbery, with rubber like response to pressure. Measures 3.5 cm x 2 cm x 2 cm.

Found in grass by a ginko… by accidentally stepping on it ;_;
Smell not distinctive to me, but my partner said it “smells like a zoo”. Gills light pinkish-brown possibly due to age, didn’t get a picture but some similar ones growing close by had lighter cream color gills.
