Leaves +- erect spreading.
Leaves gradually tapering from insertion, basal part not sheathing.
Plants greenish.
Upper leaves lanceolate, mid-leaf cells 10–14 µm wide.
Brownish rhizoidal gemmae, irregular in shape but often ± isodiametric, 50–100×50–80 μm always present.

ill-defined costa, the leaf sections clearly show the alternance of layers of 1 or 2 cells high (not the case in D. rufescens from what I read).
Plane leaf margins => also exclude D. varia.
Not Pleuridium because bottom of leaves sizing on the stem.
I don't see what else it could be and if it's stg else I would be very happy to learn what it is.

On the ground, with Streblotrichum convolutum and Pseudocrossidium hornschuchianum.
