I think Chinney swift or perhaps a warbler
At a vernal pool. Rusty cap, dark line through the eye. Reddish brown in the wings helps to distinguish from Chipping sparrow. Gray face.
Three babies. One on a branch and two in a tree cavity. Both adults nearby.
The owl was calling for a while and then went inside the cavity in a large Chestnut oak
Screechy call from seconds 10-13
Sounding a bit like horses. The one with the pink legs is probably a Herring gull
Gray and white bird, high up in the treetop
Found dead. It seems that the insides of this moth were eaten by slugs. An Arion slug was still present on the moth.
