Park regulars say there's a Purple Martin colony nearby, but I picked Barn Swallows because the ventral views have yellow/orange hues around the throat and sometimes on the abdomen.

this is actually the same turtle i photographed in the same location but i returned because i could only see a shell and did not know if it was alive or just a shell.

Suddenly found this small pile of clear balls on top of the soil in my blueberry plant. They have a squishy jelly-like consistency like some sort of egg
