Pismo State Beach Monarch Butterfly Nectar Garden
According to sources I found, native people used it as a hair dye, the plant however has varying toxicity from edible to poisonous. Aperently it was called monster berry for how random it’s effects could be. It was also used to make someone vomit, however that was from Wikipedia and other content says otherwise but it wouldn’t try it out. sources here https://www.fs.fed.us/wildflowers/plant-of-the-week/lonicera_involucrate.shtml https://calscape.org/Lonicera-involucrata-(Twinberry)?srchcr=sc560da0d9420ce
