Description

In our very own pond, in Odell Il, we have an over population of largemouth Bass fish. Over population has made their size reduce over the last few years, but they are fun to catch! Their olive color and notch between their dorsal fins gives them the clear characteristics of the Largemouth Bass.

Description

There was a small island in the middle of this man made pond, I cast my line out to the middle area, surprisingly this bass was attracted to a worm on hook. I did a pull reel wait kind of cast where you pull the line towards you, reel in some of the slack, and wait for the line t drop.
I caught the fish pretty far off from where the dock was built, it was a really sunny day mid 80s.

Description

This organism was found in by backyard pond. It is a largemouth bass. It was found August 30th, 2019. This bass was caught in the middle of the pond while I was on a small boat with a fishing pole. The bait was a rubbery fake worm. Bass are the most popular game fish in North America. They like to hide between rocks and trees in the water. You can also find them in rivers, lakes, streams and reservoirs.
