Plumed Whistling-Duck
This was in a part of a zoo that was open to the sky, so we assume that the duck(s) flew in for the water and free food.
Very large (small speck is another bird flying next to it), was flapping its wings. Wedgie, white-bellied, maybe brown falcon?? I haven't seen a wedgie flap its wings so much but it's big enough to be one
terrible picture, just the one bird
Some kind of frog bronzey brown colour with black markings
Captured on Camera Trap
Juvenile, dead on roadside. The carcass was observed several times by myself and husband as we frequently travel this road ( Back Teatree Road near Richmond).
The call is slightly different to the average Tasmanian call, and nothing like the mainland calls.
Regurgitated seed pods from Currawongs - mostly consisting of creeping strawberry pine seeds I think
