Found on a Douglas-fir with botanist friends. It was Sarah's turn to spot one this time!
Odd positioning, no signs of herbivory, and early pupation leads me to believe this one has been parasitized (like one of last year's found under similar circumstances). Was about 5 ft. up into the tree.
