Pretty sure Short-billed is the expected species for this time and location, and I don't see any reason to suspect Long-billed? Large numbers mixed in with the bigger shorebird flocks

Found alive, now it's not.
Surprisingly seen right along Wildlife Drive, just laying down near the side of the road. We tried to drive by carefully and not disturb it too much. Thought it was odd to see a fox just around during the day and hoping it's alright!
I suspect just Forster's Terns?
Mix of wavy leaf basket grass and Japanese stiltgrass
This duck was paired with a male mallard, it looks like a mallard but it’s white/cream colored. Not sure if mallards can have this coloration.
