Photo #3 shows placement of the feather (circled in blue) from the goose that shed the feather.
I'm afraid this is one of the pair that always sat in the Maple tree...No idea what happened to it, only this partial wing & some feathers. :(

During the start of the eclipse neighbor hood dogs started to howl like crazy and then died down after about a minute. Birds still tweeted but it was less and sounded more panicked, two turkey vultures were flying near by and then immediately landed once the eclipse had started,
I think, based on tail pattern and white and black primaries
@featherenthusiast - any ideas on who these feathers might be from?
I found those feathers this morning on an natural park , they were even more and they were close to an tree. Most likely from an wood pigeon.
Found this morning in an natural park , It was found in an meadow close to some tree. Most likely from an Passeriforme.
Largest feathers 5.5 to 7.5 inches long. White with ashen / gray splotches on undersides, closer to the tip of feathers. Some feathers had gray streaks along margins.
These feathers were part of a group of them including downy feathers underneath a bird feeder. Unfortunately I think a winged predator took off with the dove.
A hawk, I think immature Cooper's, came from behind me and landed on a pigeon about 15ft away in front of me. When I finally flicked my hand an eternity of maybe a whole second later, the hawk and pigeon both flew away in opposite directions.
I found these blue and gray feathers along the curb at night. There was a pair of Great Horned Owls nearby, perhaps predators to whoever these came from.
