Found dead next to train tracks. ~10" long (not including tail)
3 - Just landed in Tom Frost Reservoir
Large size likely female. Exhibit ground searching behavior plus feeding on alliums.
Seems out of range for a Peck's Skipper. Had two on Cheddar Pink Dianthus. Maybe someone has better info.
I'm guessing this is a hybrid, but may be just a strange coloration. Was with a pretty large group of Canada and/or Cackling geese and a single Ross's goose.
Goose with white head? Snow goose variant? (white head made me think of bald eagle)
