Made quick trip to Giddings and took a back road on the drive home to iNat before the heat shrivels the flowers. I was hot and sweaty when I arrived home. Temp was 92°F and rising. .

Yellow-throated Vireo Starts around 2 - 3 seconds then continues throughout. Also heard: Carolina Wren, Northern Cardinal and White-eyed Vireo
Found DOR on county road. Open farmland. Specimen donated to Angelo State Natural History Collections.
Couldn't see it but it was singing at this spot for over 30 minutes. It didn't move but was away from the trail in the juniper trees
