I’m new to north NSW (but have previously lived in SE Qld) & have never seen mosquitoes this big. They are definitely feeding on us - leave quite a bloody mess on your leg when slapped. With the stripy legs, I’ve worked out they are Aedes genus, but that’s as far as I’ve got. What are the local species - coastal far north NSW?
