Unkown provenace and could be either Black-billed or Eurasian Magpie. Only seen on one day.

On upper surface of leaf. Typically eggs are laid on lower surfaces of leaves, but every once and a while I find one on the top side. This small Common Milkweed plant https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/238624120 has a second Monarch egg on it https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/238623893, this time on the underside of a leaf.
Not sure what is going on but this is the fourth birder that I know of who has had a phoebe perch on their binoculars or on their person at Commons Ford.
