Heermann's Gull, flying (and American Wigeon, in the water)
Except bird facing camera
(Long-billed Curlew)
Photo 3 was immediately after pulling a small fish from the water, almost caught it. Taken from the road in my car through binoculars.
Strong white band across the tail. I know these photos are terrible but it was from my car, and I was going about 10-15 mph to pace this bird as it rode the wind searching the bushes
The photos aren’t great but I could clearly see the bald head
No evidence of marbling, but was roughly 10” long. Guessing NW Salamander or Coastal Giant Salamander, but not sure.
Possibly bilinearis?
