The little pear shaped nuts give it away. Bark is light gray, with “X” shaped scales, that sometimes look like they’ve been glued on the trunk (as opposed to Black walnuts that have X shaped patterns, as well, but look more engraved than glued on)
Opposite leaves, so I’m ruling out C alternifolia . About 8-10 feet tall.
Black fruit on bush with three pointed leafs. I don’t know the actual name and I choose the genus name recommended to me by iNaturalist.
