Description

Peacock tail shaped leaves, light green with dark green blotches. Each leaf has five notched lobes. Tiny hairs on the margin of the leaf. Stem greenish red.

Description

The little pear shaped nuts give it away. Bark is light gray, with “X” shaped scales, that sometimes look like they’ve been glued on the trunk (as opposed to Black walnuts that have X shaped patterns, as well, but look more engraved than glued on)
