We've frequently had flying squirrels in our feeder or near our house for many years. I started putting up a game camera about 3 years ago. I don't know if these photos show the same individual but they were taken on the same night. 3 of the photos were in quick succession.

Description
This staredown occurred when a White-tailed doe began feeding on some vinca adjacent to a deck underneath which a raccoon was napping. After staring at each other for about a minute, the raccoon went back under the deck, and the rest of the herd of 5 deer came over and fed undisturbed. These are screenshots from a Ring video of the interaction.

Description
This raccoon did not pick a very sturdy tree branch to try and "escape". Jacaranda tree, the branches kept bending way down. She decided to wait til I left before trying to get back down. Probably a female with babies somewhere, as females will come out in the daytime if they're especially hungry.
