Zygaenidae?

It appears to have two sets of antenna, long and feathery.

Found in cool temperate rainforest dominated by Myrtle beech. All sub alpine area

Note the black spots on the coxae (when viewed ventrally) this is a key feature which differentiates siccifolium from letiranti

A giant stick insect very rarely seen in the area.

Single specimen about 15cm long in domestic garden comprising many naive tree species, seen on deck railing.

Female Orthonecroscia pulcherrima, carrying an egg.
