The goal of this observation is to show "nectar robbing" behavior in this small, native bee.
The previous observation (for Aquiligia) describes how Bombus terrestris cut open the upper part of the flower to expose the nectaries (i.e., the "primary" robbery). But after the flower tube has been opened up, then smaller bees, like these Ruizanthedella, have the possibilities of extracting nectar from the exposed nectaries ("secondary" robbery).
