This is only the second time I have found this snail species. The only previousl one was in 1986, 27 years earlier:

The two sightings were about 20 metres apart!
Talk about snails moving slowly!

Third shot shows one of the seed pods on the same plant back on January 17th.
Last shot showing near depleted seed pod on the 7th September.
Did not notice these at the time - just took a quick snap of the adjacent Bisporella!
About 12cm across. I realized I lost my hat in the gully so returned to look for it (I've already lost 2 in Tasmania) when I stumbled across this magnificent coral that I would have virtually stepped over earlier. Shortly after I found the hat and that was that.
