I collected two adult Pomo bronze shoulderband snails from a pile of cardboard during clean up for an event held within second growth redwood forest near Highway 20 eight miles out from Fort Bragg. I put the shoulderbands in a 10 gallon terrarium with two four inch pots, the first filled with peat and the other with potting soil. I provided wetted cardboard and garden greens as well as a piece of cuddle bone and a few garden snail shells for calcium sources. This photo shows the two original snails and a number of their offspring. Note the variable growth rate. There were probably an additional 50+ individuals of the smallest size shown still in the tank when I took these photos. I thought these photos would be useful to others since its often difficult to identify juvenile snails, they seem to change quite a bite from stage to stage as they grow.

70 in a 1 x 20 meter strip after a good summer rain. This spot was about 3 meters off the road on sandy soil near where people illegally car. I have no idea why there were so many. I made a video of my walk along the 20 m strip of highway berm.

These creatures appeared to be frozen solid on a windy low tide night with temperatures around 10 degrees F.
We saw many G. oregonensis with eggs frozen or dead on the beach or in barnacle holes. I suspect they don't tend to travel as much, so while the non-egg-bearing crabs fled to the water, these were left to freeze.
