Crow size or larger, thicker head with lighter nape and darker cap on head, longer tail while in flight (did not get view of tip of tail), darker grey back with orange-brown front which equals adult and not juvenile. Stick nest in tree where it landed; will observe longer.

seemed to be larger and smaller print overlapping. Likely fore print and hind print.
Opposite branching, vines Tangled around other plants, seed pods not yet opened. This patch was NOT visible last year. Scary fast growth. Put into garbage bag, left in sun, then into dumpster. All roots dug up so that smaller shoots can't sprout. Will continue to monitor that location and educate full time staff and volunteer gardeners of this risk.

First observation of Merlin in spring. Female was perched at top of tree, male flew in. Mating observed
