Sorry to say this specimen was stone dead already and I found it totally dry in the dust under a restaurant table. Anyway - I couldn't resist to eternalize it by photo before its beauty would be gone.....
N. comma is a common Sphingidae moth all over in Africa south of the sahara. There are green and brown morphs and during June 2016 I saw it a few times on the wing in ful daylight when the evening sun still was shining.
