Description
Found loosely attached to the root of a hardwood tree, on a moss carpet near the tree trunk. Although the cap was in good condition, the short stalk had deteriorated. The cap held water like a sponge, dripping when squeezed. There was little to no color change when sliced open.
9 cm wide, 4 pores per mm, tubes 4-7 mm in length
