My species ID may be incorrect. If not, however, and if the apothecia does not belong to a lichenicolous species, this may be the first fertile B. fuscescens of North America. Soralia picture included. Branch points V-shaped, not U-shaped. Curiously found on the same tree as my third fertile Usnea specimen for Alaska. Tree was downed and I speculate this was a driver of producing fertile stress morpholgies. Apothecia appearing to emerge from soralia.
