This appears to be the first report of this species in Mono County (although I stumbled upon an earlier unidentified photographic record from not far from here). According to Jerry Powell, this is a species traditionally thought to occur only at high elevation -- for decades it was only known from Ebbetts Pass. More info on this discovery forthcoming... posted now for inclusion in National Moth Week.
