dapplepod, Astragalus lentiginosus var. fremontii, Nevada, Mineral County, White Mountains, Teels Marsh watershed, elevation 1902 m (6240 ft).
Specimen collected # Morefield 5969.
This facultatively annual variant usually assigned to var. fremontii seems to be characteristic of sandy habitats in this area of west-central Nevada, and may deserve its own name. Besides being short-lived, it tends to be distinguished by lighter-colored pinkish flowers with banners reflexed near 90°, legumes solid green and not mottled, and sometimes more leaflets.

Boechera species, Nevada, Mineral County, White Mountains, Teels Marsh watershed, elevation 1981 m (6500 ft).
Specimen collected # Morefield 5971.
This doesn't seem to fit any named taxa and may be an undescribed species. Several individuals were observed in the local area. The combination of entire basal leaves and dentate cauline leaves is unusual if not unique in the genus.
