Possibly escaped from captivity, although the more remote possibility of being a genuine vagrant could not be completely discarded. Apparently without any rings on legs, but this was difficult to ascertain with certainty considering the bird kept the legs hidden during most of the observation (see photos). Allowed for an approximation closer than 10 m, but so do wild birds living in urban areas within the normal range of the species (as in North Africa and the Middle East). Flew down the hill and out of sight into a thicket, showing well preserved wings and good flying abilities throughout the 30 m long flight (but no good views of the legs or of any possible leg rings).
