I barely had any time to get this photo however I did clearly hear "bunyip bunyip" calls when they flew off.
2 birds visible however I'm assuming there's a 3rd the male parent.
It's possibly the same group of birds that I saw yesterday.

Four individuals. I’m pretty sure I logged them in the same area just yesterday (03/09/2024). All individuals were male with pink eyelids and dark beaks. They were again feeding on the banksia inflorescences, and one carried an entire inflorescence off by himself. They were pretty calm and I was able to get quite close to take photos.
