Description
A stocky, light-colored eagle circling over the Port River Expressway and surrounds. Mobbed by a similarly-sized, but much leaner, Whistling Kite. There seems to be an unusual number and variety of raptors in this part of town at the moment.

Description
A pair of adults, probably Port Gawler's resident pair, initially perched on one of their favorite power poles on the edge of a salt pond, then raiding a nearby seagull colony multiple times for juvenile seagulls. One of the eagles also chased a Caspian tern that was carrying a fish, presumably to steal the fish, but ended up being mobbed by a variety of other birds instead. Eventually both eagles flew south over Port Gawler Rd with dead seagulls in their talons.

Flying with a juvenile seagull in its talons after raiding a seagull colony on an island in a salt pond. It was mobbed by several adult seagulls and dropped its prey as a result, but managed to retrieve it off the surface of the water after diving vertically 10-15 meters.
