I found this moth in area close to California Coastal Sagescrub. I could not find a match in any of my insect books, although it most closely resembled the Tiger Moth. Could it be an exotic or introduced species?

Description
Having never seen a Kit Fox before, sure would appreciate confirmation of this photo. I've seen plenty of Gray Fox and it doesn't seem to fit that. This animal walked out on the trail, let its curiosity get the best of it for a minute or so, then walked back into the brush. Beautiful animal.

Found on beach by Dan Spach’s Wilderness Youth Project group. Turns out they were not the first to observe it, but at the time it seemed like it. So exciting for all the kids to experience first hand such a unique find!! WYP has said “we’re in the business of creating peak experiences.” This was certainly one of them!
