Description

Classification:
Class: Osteichthyes - it has gills and the skeleton is made from dermal bone
Order: Cypriniformes - this is because they have forked tails, are toothless, and are small.

Weather conditions: It was a hot, humid day when we found these organisms at NATL.

Specific location: These fish were found in the swampy area at NATL. We used a dip net to see them more clearly.

Behavior: The fish were swimming around while in the pan and while in the water they were found in. They were not interacting with other species.
