Description
Pine forest in soil
May have to study all recent Amanita observations of this color, possibly two fruiting now with a similar color...
Fresh specimen with no cap striations, margin covered with warts, large bulb base with concentric rings above it
Stem powdery with a shaggy appearance, uneven appearing margin due to the number of warts

Description
Smelled lightly like a foot. Like a weak daucipes or section roanokenses -type smell. Strong yellow UV 365nm reaction on the gills and cap/bulb flesh. Large oaks nearby. bulb about 40-45mm x 22mm mostly cylindrical but tapering slowly. Stem about 55mm×13mm. Cap about 70mm wide. I thought it was growing alone but there is apparently another in the background of two photos that appears to be a little smaller
